Noosa Orchestra, established in 2010 by Silvi Eckley, has attracted talented players from all over the Sunshine Coast and is now recognised as an important part of Noosa’s musical scene. Under the direction of celebrated conductor, Antoni Bonetti, the ensemble has matured into a well respected classical/pops orchestra, attracting national and international soloists including Simon Tedeschi (piano), and Warwick Adeney (violin) whose recent concerts were sold out in Noosa.
Our Orchestra
The Orchestra has two youth groups - the Noosa String Ensemble and the Noosa Mini Strings who also play at our concerts.
Our Performances
The Orchestra performs three concerts a year in Noosa usually with a second performance a week later in various venues in the Sunshine Coast hinterland (e.g. Cooroy).
We and our audiences have a lot of fun with varied programs from Vivaldi to Led Zeppelin, Bach to Star Wars, and Beethoven to Les Miserables !
